GENERAL

General

Who is Gray Matter Labs for?
We supply research-grade peptides to qualified researchers, laboratories, and academic institutions. All products are sold for laboratory use only and are not intended for human or animal consumption.
Where are your peptides manufactured?
Our compounds are synthesized in regulated facilities that follow cGMP-aligned processes. Each lot is independently verified by accredited third-party labs before it leaves the facility.
How can I purchase?
To place an order, please contact us on WhatsApp. We'll help you with product selection, payment, and shipping arrangements.
RESEARCH & SAFETY

Research & Safety

Are these products legal?
Yes, when sold and used strictly for laboratory research purposes. Our products are not approved by the FDA for human or veterinary use. By purchasing, you confirm you are a qualified researcher at least 21 years of age and will not administer these compounds to humans or animals.
What does 'research-grade' actually mean?
Research-grade peptides are intended for in vitro studies and laboratory analysis. They are not pharmaceutical-grade products and have not undergone the regulatory review required for therapeutic use. Always handle in a controlled laboratory environment.
Will I receive documentation with my order?
Every order ships with a batch ID matching the lot's certificate of analysis. You can pull up the COA at any time using our Lab Reports lookup or by contacting us.
RECONSTITUTION & STORAGE

Reconstitution & Storage

How should I store unreconstituted peptides?
Lyophilized (dry) peptides should be stored at -20°C (freezer) and protected from light and moisture. Properly stored, most peptides remain stable for 24+ months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting before reconstitution if you'll be using small volumes over time.
What should I use to reconstitute?
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is the most common choice for research peptides, as the benzyl alcohol preservative extends solution shelf life. Sterile water for injection (SWFI) is also used when shorter-term storage is acceptable. The appropriate volume depends on the desired concentration — see your study protocol.
How long is a reconstituted vial stable?
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water and refrigerated (2-8°C), most peptide solutions remain stable for 4-6 weeks. With SWFI, plan on shorter usability. Always observe your own institution's protocols.
Can I see the storage instructions for a specific compound?
Yes — each product detail page includes compound-specific storage guidance. If you need information beyond what's published, our team is happy to walk you through the COA and stability data.
